1st 7 ingredients are for the batter.

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs. Beat well. Add dry ing. Batter will be THICK!!! Spread 1/2 batter into a greased 9×13.

Next 4 ingredients are for the filling.

For filling cream the cream cheese and sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Mix till smooth. Pour over batter. Spoon rest of batter over filling. This is difficult as the batter is EXTREMELY THICK.

Mix sugar and flour together and cut butter into it. Sprinkle over top.

Bake for 45 minutes at 350*. You can drizzle this with a confectioners sugar glaze, if you like.

  1. OMG! I found you while stalking the commets on PW.I LOVE your recipes! I don’t know where to start,I want to make them all. I have eveything to make this, I just need to be sure that the cream cheese are the “regular size” of 8oz.? I guess i’ll find out……I’m off to make them! Thanks! I KNOW I’ll be back!

  2. Greetings! This seems to be just what I’ve been searching for, yet I question the intruction 1st 7 ingredients are for the batter; is there an ingredient missing – there is an unaccounted for bullet between the first 6 and following four (filling) ingredients. Thanks! Tina
