October 4

Hey Internet!

It is Monday, and I am nosy.

I want to know what is your favorite fall dish that you make over and over.

My favorite fall dish is cheesy potato soup.

When we lived in Houston, my mom made this and I have been in love ever since.

It is just a cheesy bechamel (white sauce) with potatoes, ham and peas.

It is so good I could eat it till I am beyond full.

  1. Mmmm, that soup sounds delicious!

I don’t really make things because of the current season, I just make what I feel like, according to the current status of my pantry and freezer. So, yes, that means stew and chili in the summer and BBQ’d steak in the winter. I guess fall means a few more potatoes and carrots as they come out of the garden, and seeing as our Thanksgiving is next weekend, now is the season for pumpkin pie. Yay!

  2. As soon as it is cool out I start craving chicken and dumpings and chicken stew. I love any soups, so corn chowder is a regular around here. Homemade cinnamon buns make their apperance as soon as I have to turn the ac off and the heat on!

  3. Hippo Birdie two Ewe,
    Hippo Birdie two Ewe,
    Hippo Birdie Deer Ewe,
    Hippo Birdie two Ewe!

    And many, many more!

Chili…it’s our favorite cold weather, football watching basketball watching food. Oh, and Reuben sandwiches are high on the list, too.
