August 18

Because I am trying to yank myself out of the doom and gloom that has settled over me, I have been making a concerted effort to laugh.

So, here is my laughing offering for the day.

  1. (((HGUS)) That was hilarious!!! I love it. Now, off to switch the laundry.

p.s. have you been out in the sunshine walking? That might brighten your spirits a little. Praying for you.

  2. Don’t be sad, just know that there are people like me who love to read you everyday, sit at our desks and laugh at the boy and girl and love your thankful Sunday lists. Even though you don’t know me, you make a difference in my day! Thanks for that! Oh, you can always come to Texas and join us for our 18th day of over 100 degree weather…yuck!

      1. At work I have a fan blowing on me all the time, and since I work with all men and am 47 they just laugh and get used to me being hot all the time. Home is hard seems the a/c runs all the time. We are lucky enough to have a pool, that’s our only entertainment, but, I’m having a hard time with not baking. I love to bake and miss it but it just heats up the house too much.

          1. Oh, you’re so lucky!! We won’t be able to have the air off until mid October. I miss being able to open the doors and windows. I hope your gumption arrives soon you are a talented baker.. do the Texas girl a favor and bake something delish!! I’ll live vicariously through you.

  3. Been following you for quite a while. We seem to share a lot of interests. I thought I would share a Dr Oz recommendation for energy that seem to have the wonderful side affect of sending away the feelings of gloom. At least it works for me. Ribose (pills) Maca pills, B12, and green tea. You can go to realage.com and search on energy and get all the Dr talk. I just know they work.
