1.  The best cookie I have ever had is the Granola Grabbers from Dorie Greenspan’s cook book Baking From My Home to Yours.

2.  I do not like Ginger Snaps or Oatmeal Raisin

3.  Peanut butter cookies made with chunky peanut butter and peanut butter chips are another favorite, and butterscotch chip.

4.  Oreo’s are the packaged cookie that I will always buy…and Thin Mints.

5.  Outside crispy and inside chewy.

5.Do you think cookies should be chewy and gooey, or should they be crispy and crunchy? Definitely chewy and gooey!

  2. Best cookie ever is the Chocolate Chip Walnut cookie from Levain Bakery in NYC.
I’ve baked many cookies I haven’t cared much for, but can’t think of particulars. I really don’t like grocery store BAKERY cookies.
Oreos and Nutter Butters are two brands that I will buy, but usually to put in something I’m baking. The pink and white frosted animal crackers are good, too.
I’m more of a chewy gooey cookie kind of gal.

I wasn’t in TWD when the Granola Grabbers were made, but with your endorsement, I’ll have to make them now.

  3. 1.What is absolutely the best cookie you’ve ever had?
Any chocolate chip cookie straight out of my oven!

2.What kind of cookie you really not care for?
Any cookie with coconut in it – ick!

3.What are some other cookies you are fond of?
Pepperidge Farms – the ones with the strawberry filling
in the middle. Homemade white chocolate chip and
    toffee cookies.

4.Grocery-store cookies are never as good as home made, but what’s a packaged cookie that’s still pretty good?
Sandies, without the pecans. And any of the Walker
    shortbread cookies. LOVE those!

5.Do you think cookies should be chewy and gooey, or should they be crispy and crunchy?
Depends on my mood. Sometimes, there’s nothing better
than a soft, fluffy Snickerdoodle. Other times, only
a sticky, crispy chocolate chip cookie (Alexis
    Stewarts’ recipe!) will do!

    Happy Weekend!

  4. 1.What is absolutely the best cookie you’ve ever had? chocolate gooey butter cookies

2.What kind of cookie you really not care for? snickerdoodles

3.What are some other cookies you are fond of? Banana chocolate chip, granola bars, nobake, molasses, monster

4.Grocery-store cookies are never as good as home made, but what’s a packaged cookie that’s still pretty good? Oreos

5.Do you think cookies should be chewy and gooey, or should they be crispy and crunchy? depends on the cookie

  5. 1. I think my absolute favourite cookie would be homemade shortbread. All that buttery goodness. I never get tired of them.
    2. My dad’s favourites are a soft raisin cookie, but I think they should never be made! Well, maybe my mom can make them, as long as I’m not around!
    3. Homemade chocolate chip, gingersnap, brownie chocolate chip, macadamia nut, peanut butter.
    4. I love love love Oreos!
    5. Almost every cookie should be crispy outside, chewy inside.

  6. 1. What is absolutely the best cookie you’ve ever had? some kind of overloaded chocolate chip concoction

    3. What are some other cookies you are fond of? homemade anything!
    4. Grocery-store cookies are never as good as home made, but what’s a packaged cookie that’s still pretty good? Fig Newtons
    5. Do you think cookies should be chewy and gooey, or should they be crispy and crunchy? both!

  7. What is absolutely the best cookie you’ve ever had? A bakery in Charlotte used to have a cookie called the PMS (Pretty Mean Sweet) it was fudgey and chocolatey with a hint of espresso and white chips, which I generally don’t like-but this is by far the best cookie I’ve ever had.
What kind of cookie you really not care for? Any cookie that contains raisins or dried fruit.
What are some other cookies you are fond of? Chocolate chip with espresso powder in the batter. YUM.
Grocery-store cookies are never as good as home made, but what’s a packaged cookie that’s still pretty good? Carr’s Ginger-Lemon cremes
Do you think cookies should be chewy and gooey, or should they be crispy and crunchy?Hmmm-it really depends on the cookie. Those chockablock cookies we just made were rather crispy and the PMS cookies I mentioned before are gooey-I like both as long as fruit is left out.

  8. 1. That is a tough question though I’ll attempt by taking a page out of hubby’s g-pa’s book – hot & cold (room temp) homemade.
    2. Stale ones.
    3. Can’t go wrong w/chocolate chip, oatmeal w/raisin & chips.
    4. Girl Scout cookies, Oreo, Chips Ahoy, and those Circus Animal cookies – the ones that are white & pink w/tiny sprinkles …. addicting. All the above are perfect w/a glass of milk – it’s mandatory isn’t it?
    5. I tend to prefer cookies that are soft (not so that you can’t pick them up w/out their breaking though) and chewy. Crisp is ok as long as I don’t have to worry about breaking a tooth when trying to eat them.

  9. 1. Absolute best is a white chocolate macadamia nut by our local gourmet bakery.
    2. I know this may be shoking but I don’t like Oreos
3.I love ginger snaps, snickerdoodles, iced sugar (homemade of course), oatmeal scotchies.
    4. I don’t really care for packaged cookies. Girl Scout cookies are alright and I sometimes like the cheap vanilla sandwich cookies.
5.I like lightly crispy on the outside with a melt-in-your mouth texture.

Today’s topic is making me hungry ;-/

  10. Best cookie-melting moments

    ginger snaps- not the best

peanut butter, thumbprint,Jarrod’s new concoction(choc.chunk, oatmeal, and nuts)they are some of my favorites

Oreos are still a good packaged cookie

And cookies for me need to be chewy and gooey.

I love cookies(but not as much as I love ICE CREAM
