Sunday we spent the day with the parents.

We went over so that Superman and the boy could dress up like Roman soldiers and scare the elderly and children half out of their wits.

Isn’t he just the cutest?

Today’s TWD is Coconut Tea Cake.

Carmen of Carmen Cooks picked it today and she has the recipe.

I didn’t make it.

I am the only one that would be eating said Tea Cake, and even though I do like coconut, I just don’t want to eat a whole one.

I love auctions.

I love going and looking at what other people have in their house, and what kind of things that other people think are important.

I love watching other people at an auction and their reaction to the items for sale.

I love listening to the auctioneer, and I love bidding on stuff…the thrill of outbidding someone else.

I know I don’t need this box full of screws and nails, and dust, but someone else is bidding on it, and I. must. have. it.  Bidding at an auction is like crack for the thrifty, but it can get out of hand.

Just sayin’.

We had an auction last week right next door, and I sat in the comfort of my own home and watched it all.

Internet.  It is March 26…spring already, and it snowed last night.

Snowed!

I’m clinging to Monday, and the sun that shined and the 70º temperatures.

Today is Friday, and I am nosy.

  1. How many hours’ sleep do you need in order to be at your best, and what’s the minimum you can get on a regular basis and still be functional?
  2. What’s your favorite sleeping position?
  3. What was the cause of your most recent difficulty sleeping?
  4. When you can’t seem to drift off to sleep right away, what are some things you do to bring about sleep?
  5. When did you last doze off at an inappropriate time or in an inappropriate place?

8 hours, and the minimum….8 hours

What’s your favorite sleeping position?

My pillows shaped like this ——>  /\  and my arms curled underneath…but I have to steal borrow Superman’s pillow to do so.

I have no difficulties sleeping…but the nasty time change doesn’t help.

I sing ‘Jesus Loves Me’ and that generally works every time.
