November 8

Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property… Horrid mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them.

  1. Yeah, I was never a George fan until… well… you know. I only hope 2012 isn’t too late, a lot of damage can be done in 4 years and this administration seems set on doing as much as possible as quick as possible. Act now, think later seems to be their motto.
    Nuff ranting from me.

  2. I watched C-Span for awhile last night. What is unfolding in this country is SUCH an outrage. It makes it difficult to even have a civilized conversation with someone!!!!

Thanks CC, as always. I needed that quote today.:)

  3. Yes I do miss the monkey man. While I wasnt crazy about him……at least I knew who my leader was when he was in office. Now the country is being run by a pack………….of greedy vultures.

  4. I was never a fan of Bush, but he was better than what we have now. I grieve for our country. I hope that the things being done now don’t end up irreversible. I know God is in control and sees the whole picture. I sometimes wish he would give us a glimpse. Or maybe not.

  5. How about we fire everybody in Washington D.C., move the capital to Kansas, and fill all of the vacancies with farmers. Can you envision the prosperity that would produce?

  6. I love this and will be sharing.

I have to second that last comment – I don’t miss George W. Bush at all, but what I will say is that I hope the Republican Party comes back stronger than it was under his administration. A lot of us liberal democrats are disenchanted too, but we all know there has to be a solution to this mess.

    Thank you for the chuckle.
