April 27

Today my wee ones are 4 weeks old.

This little guy was born snuffling and sneezing. Now he has a cold or something in his eye. I kiss him every day to make it all better.

Any ideas on what to do for his sweet eye?

Lightening is the mellowest of them all. He rarely mews, or makes a fuss about being held. I kiss him every day because he is a good boy.

Bootleg is such a sweetie pie. I kiss him every day because he has such a sweet pink nose.

Moonshine has the sweetest face. I kiss her every day because she is my favorite the only girl.

They will be weaned in 2 weeks, and I will have to go to therapy when I have to give them up.

  1. I am with Tamara, Just keep them all. I would hate yo see you cry, and therapy costs MONEY.Of course, so doesn’t cat food and kitty litter, and vet bills. Such a dilemma. I feel for you!

  2. Vee’s advice sounds good to me as I know that tea bags are good for so many things.

Make sure that you find homes for the kitties that are close enough for you to visit them to make sure they are being properly taken care. 😉

Everyone knows that the cure for losing your babies is to have more. 🙄

  3. Tanya, I’d get the little one with the poorly eye checked out at the vets. Our cat developed an infection that started in one eye, then spread to the other. We saw the vet and he gave her 50/50 survival rate. 😦 However he gave her a jab (she didn’t like that LOL!) of antibiotics and I had to squirt stuff into her eye myself once a day. She got better! She was the runt of the litter but is now at the grand old age of 14. (She knows who her mummy is too) I hope he’ll get better!

  4. They are absolutely adorable!

You can get some inexpensive eye drops from the vet that should clear it right up.

Our kittens were born yesterday! Yippee!

  5. I’ve been reading your blog for a few weeks, and I enjoy it. And I LOVE seeing the pictures of the kitties! They are beautiful. Wish I could get one, but my three old cats probably wouldn’t like the idea. Keep posting pictures so we can all enjoy them vicariously.

Oh yes, I teach fourth grade and often I check my favorite blogs early in the morning while the kids are eating breakfast in the classroom. The kids just adore your kittens. They all decide which one is the best and which one they would choose!
