April 1

I am going crazy.

And I’d like to give a big shout out to those that put me in this predicament.

First and foremost, I’d like to thank Dean Martin. He is such a wonderful guy!

I’d also like to thank K, the girls friend who invited the girl over to visit, and subsequently giving her a CD.

Lastly, I’d like to thank the girl for playing the song for me.

The song that has been running through my head for. the. last. 24. hours. non-stop.

Thank you one and all.

The men in white suits will be here soon.

Bells will ring, ting-a-ling-a-ling…….

  1. I absolutely love Dean Martin. My oldest daughter is a huge fan of dead stars in Hollywood. She has a book about him and allowed me to read it. He wasn’t really as bas as his reputation indicated. I have several of his cds and I’d love it if they would run his variety shows on TVland. I’ve thought about ordering them when they advertise them on TV, but I’m either too tight or too broke.

He doesn’t rank as high on my scale as John Wayne(who is #1), but he’s on the list.

  2. What movie was that from? Wouldn’t it be fun to live in a movie musical and break out in song at the drop of a hat? Now that would really make my kids think I was crazy. šŸ™‚

The chips do live in a musical. I have a song for just about every occasion. They think I am nutso. I think I am fun.

  3. Oh Dino!! He’s one of my favorites. He was really a fun and happy person and I love the photos of him and Jeanne when they were young and in love. Even though they were divorced at the time he fell ill, he lived with her and she cared for him until his death.

I play his CD’s when working in my studio…In Immorata is one of my faves and his duet with Nat King Cole.

  4. I love the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis movies. My family know that they can always buy me one of them and I’ll be very happy. Dean certainly can sing a love song to make a girl just melt……

I just wish he hadn’t smoked or drank like he did.

I wish we had more stars today like back then.

  5. What a voice….you are so blessed to have a daughter who will play the Dean for you….. and often I am assuming…?

What better song to get stuck in your head but one about pizza pies….. šŸ™‚

  6. I used to watch Dean Martins show all the time. He was so casual. I think they sometimes overdid the part with him being tipsy. I don’t think he was all that they said.I liked to hear him sing”Everybody Loves Smebody Sometime”

  7. Your Aunt Cindy and I both break out in song to just about anything! Like you, we live in a musical…our families don’t love it as much as we do! LOL
