January 31

Meet Frank.

Frank is my first photo shoot. I don’t think you can call it a photo shoot if you don’t get paid for it. Actually, it really wasn’t necessarily a ‘photo shoot’ but more of a ‘CanIPleaseTakePicturesOfYourCatSoICanPracticeMyPhotography’ shoot.

Semantics, people, it is all semantics!

Frank was Lindsay’s cat. Lindsay was our pastor’s daughter.

So, Frank is livin’ large these days.

Out of the last 2 photo’s, which one do you like the best. I like the first one better, but I’d love to hear what you think.

  1. I think that you did well on your “photo practice” shoot.
You seem to have an eye for setting up a picture. Wedding photographers make good money…..just a thought.

  2. I like the last one the best – it shows more of the fire and the cat’s eyes are half closed like the fire is making him sleepy or he is really really bored of you snapping his pic 🙂

  3. I like the first one but you should crop it so the chair and other furniture isn’t in the background. I also like the way you have a reflection of the fireplace flames in some of the ones with Frank in front. Frank is a beautiful cat.

  4. I think all of these are very good. Especially the second to last one. Very nice.

I lurk at your blog all the time and you will probably never want to be my friend now, but I have tagged you on my blog. You have to reveal 6 quirky things about yourself and then tag 6 others.

It was actually kinda fun. Don’t hate me.

  5. I’ve not read the other comments as of yet so I’m answering completely from my own perspective.

both photos are very good with slight changes in them to make them different. I really like the reflection of the fire in the glass (took me a couple of looks to understand how that reflection was there 🙄 ). I would have to say that I like #2 better though as it shows both the fire and and the cat to their best.

  6. …I like the second one, less background and more of Frank and the flames… :o)

…Great kitty cat! He’s so pretty and sits well for photo sessions too…

    …Blessings… :o)

  7. You have the perfect cat for photo taking!

Out of the last two, I would pick the second one because you can see a teensy bit more of Frank’s face in it.

    BEEaUtiful Frank! 😀
