August 15

I’ve been knitting.

I have been knitting the cutest pair of socks.

Baby socks!!!They are the tiniest, cutest socks I have ever seen!  I have them here, compared with the daughter’s sock.

Now before you all get excited, they aren’t for me. Our youth leader’s wife is having her baby in October. They are having a boy, so I thought that I would get some lace weight yarn and make some baby socks. They are sooooooo adorable!!!

Do you knit?   Do you wish you could knit?  Could you care less about knitting?

  1. Awwww, cute socks. Makes me want to have another baby just so you can knit some socks for it. (NOT!!!) LOL

I do not knit, either. Don’t know how, but would maybe want to learn someday. Right now I’m happy with my sewing machine. 🙂

  2. I know the beginning of knitting, not pearling though. I’ve not knitted anything in a great number of years.

Both socks look wonderful. What does your daughter think of her sock?

  3. She loves her sock. I am halfway finished with the mate. Last night whilst I was awaiting the boy to get home from helping his Gramps, I finished the first baby sock, and started it’s mate.

  4. Cute wittle socken!

I knit, if you can call it knitting. I find that knitting makes me nervous b/c I’m so worried about making a mistake. I haven’t quite figured out how to fix mistakes yet.

  5. I tried knitting a long time ago. Never got along too well. I do however ,like to crochet. I used to be quite good at it. Not as good as my mama though. I remember crocheting a dress for Amber when she was just a baby. Sandy, if you read this, do you still have that dress somewhere? It was verigated colors, just ever so cute.

  6. Yes, I love to knit, but I don’t love it as much as crochet. I have not finished a sock, yet. I have started several… 😦 I have finished several sweaters, though. Does that count? 🙂
