May 31

Last Friday the daughter went to the boy’s ball game with me. I have been trying to encourage her to get out more, even though it tires her out, it is good for her.

I don’t know if you can see this or not, but the girl is blushing. Why would she blush? Well, I can not tell you. She has asked me not to tell anyone, however…..I can show you!!!

She has a crush on this young man, and he had walked by, put his hand on her head and said ” Hey K-dog” which is his nickname for her. I asked her if she was ever going to wash her hair again. She had to think about it, but in the end, she did.~~thank goodness.  If she hadn’t I woud have to call her greasy dog~~
I remember my first crush. His name was Tony. He was tall, blond, muscular and a very strong jaw line. I remember he went to the first church my dad pastored. I left the service to go to the bathroom, and he followed me out. Kissed me rather boldly in the foyer too…and I liked it! biggrin.gif

Do you remember your first crush?

  1. Yes. Harold. I was in love with him until I met Uncle Jim. I am still quite fond of him as we have remained friends all these many years. He never married. I like to think it is because he never caught me!lol He is very good to his mother.

  2. Too funny! (kissed in the foyer) I sorta remember mine, I was in grade school, and I remember went to a “religous” meeting with a blond haired, blue-eyed boy. My mom tells me she caught me passing a note to him during meeting that said, “I love you, do you love me? Check yes or no”….ROFLOL! Hope if I ever run into him, he does not remember that.

  3. My first crush: I was just a little kid. I thought my dad’s friend was so cute. I’d blush every time he came over.

The entire family thought it was so funny. I’d get all dressed up everytime he came around.

For the record, I was about 6 years old. He was about 20-25 years old. LOL!

  4. My first crush was on a boy named Miguel. He was a foreign exchange student who didn’t speak very much english. He had tan skin and beautiful dark bouncy, wavy hair. I used to tell Miguel how cute I thought he was and that I liked him a lot and he would just smile and nod his head because he had no idea what I was saying….LOL. 😀

  5. Oh!
My first crush was in grade 9 with a young man named Tom. Because we sat alphabetical by last name we sat beside each other in half my classes.I was thrilled. He became a friend of my brothers and we started walking to school together— well okay with a bunch of other kids! Then one day at a after school thing he did a little gig with me ( we were all doing it) and he kissed me. Wow. That was the last time I ever saw him again. Winter holidays came and then his dad ( a local doctor) sent him to an all boy school. In January I was beside myself. I gave up on men for quite a time after that. Oh how funny it all seems now. Thanks for the memories.

  6. Well he’s cute, that’s good and he must be somewhat nice since he’s got a sweet nickname for her. 🙂

Yes, I remember my first crush. His name was Peter and he lived next door to my Gram. I was 4 and he must have been between 14-16! He wasn’t my first kiss however, I admired him from afar as I was, and am 🙄 , quite shy.
