Applie tagged me with 8 random things about me . I don’t know if I can come up with something that you all don’t know about me.

Directions:

Lists 8 random facts/habits about yourself in a blog post. List these directions in the post. At the end of the post, tag 8 people to complete the task. Leave the persons you’ve tagged a comment to tell them they’re tagged and refer them to your blog to read the directions.

1. I hate soggy cereal, so I don’t put much milk in it. I try to put enough in so that at my last bite there is not a drop of milk left……or maybe just 1 spoonful.

2. I have always wanted to be able to walk through the woods and be able to know all the names of the flora and fauna, but I hate science.

3. I took short hand in college.

4. If dogs weren’t so smelly, didn’t sniff everyone’s crotch, and would use a litter box I would consider getting one. They mind so much better than cats.

5. When I was in 11th grade, I gave myself an “A” for my report card in Earth Science. The teacher was to lazy to grade anything, so we got to give ourselves our own grades.

6. I have always felt I was born in the wrong century. I would love to go back in time.

7. I went to the movie theater for the first time when I was 18.

8. I didn’t go on a real date till I was in college.

There you have it folks. 8 little known facts about the Chocolatechic. Now, which ones did you find the most fascinating?

  1. Who was your science teacher? I think we may have had the same one. Only mine wouldn’t grade things, he would just see if there were words written down and give you an A. A time or two I would write lyrics to a song down, just to see if he was paying attention. My song lyrics got straight A’s :).

  2. Tanya, I didn’t know any of those things about you, except you hate science. πŸ™‚

I took shorthand in high school and college. I can’t remember any of it now, but would like to learn it again.

I don’t like soggy cereal either. On the rare occasions that I have cereal, I’ll pour the milk and inhale the cereal before it gets soggy. Not very lady like, so I do this in private. πŸ˜€

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. Just so you know, today is Thursday the 17th of May. The 18th will be tomorrow, Friday.

I just realized that you did what I did last week or the week before. πŸ™‚

  4. Number 7 fascinated me the most. Number 4 made me laugh πŸ™‚ . I also only put a bit of milk in my cereal because I don’t like it soggy.

So…What century would you have liked to be born in?

  5. I’m with you on the soggy cereal. I put a smallish amount of milk in mine, and inhale it too, just like Applie!

That science teacher really floored me. Some teacher, huh?

  6. The one that caught my eye was the one about living in the 1800s. Back when the horse and buggy had cruise control. The out-house had hot and cold running water, stuff-mart wasn’t around yet. I can see it now…not.

    DAD

  7. I didn’t know you didn’t go on a real date till college. You strike me as an 1800’s type of girl.I do like your dad’s comment.

  8. CC I can’t decide which I find the most fascinating.

One doesn’t have to know the scientific names of flora and fauna. Take it from me, knowing scientific names if handy but not for social exchanges. To call a daisy a daisy is usually enough. πŸ™‚ When a person starts speaking in science, the audience thins out quite a bit. πŸ˜€

  9. Okay, the cat comment left me giggling.

    The cereal comment, ditto!

And I could see that you would love to experience the 1800s. I could just picture you at one of those living history villages now and having a wonderful time. And I could just see you teaching all the chillin’s that come around about your kitchen and how it used to be done. Great image!

  10. Wow! You never went to the movie theater until you were 18??? I grew up going to the movies. πŸ™‚

I tagged myself and wrote 8 things about me in my blog.

  11. Let’s see…same here for me on the date and movie. We were sheltered…..lolol.

I can see you living in another century….and doing it quite well….

I must agree with you on the dog thing….there have been a few times where mine almost bought a bullet.

Cool on the shorthand….I would have liked to have taken that class……

    Science is really cool…….
