March 21st

The first day of spring……….it was lovely outside, but I spent the first half of it inside a waiting room.  My daughter had a barium upper GI this morning, and in solidarity with her, I refused to eat till she could.  I called the hospital last night to see about how long the test would take, the man answered 1/2 an hour.  I thought 1/2 an hour…….no problem.  The test lasted 4 hours.  It was a very long 4 hours.  Poor girl……it was awful, but she was a trooper.    The tests came back normal.   I am tired of normal!  I want some answers.  I am tired of not getting anywhere!  ~~incert tantrum throwing smilie~~

We came home and watched Pride and Prejudice………….sigh……….what a lovely movie!!!  I wish that people would think/talk/act like that now.  People having a sense of propriety, order, morality and manners.   I could also handle balls………lots of lovely partys and fancy dresses!!!  Yep!  I was born in the wrong era!

What color of car do you drive?  My car is white……..well, right now it is more of a road grime color, but underneath it all is white…..if you don’t look at the rust spots! smile.gif

  1. Bless her sweet heart! ((hugs)) for both of you.

I’ve heard such good about Pride and Prejudice. Is it the 2005 film that you are referring to? Have you seen Emma (1996) starring Gwyneth Paltrow? That is a nice movie.

    I drive a white car. 🙂

  2. Pride & Prejudice. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh Which version the 4 hour one (BBC) or the newer movie. Got them both……….love them!!

I drive a blue but right now camouflaged grey ( raod salt) Carivan

  3. Kirs has been through so much. I hope you find some answers soon. When the girls had their oral surgery they couldn’t eat past midnight, so I said I wouldn’t eat until they could as well. Gregg got up that morning and I said if they can’t eat and I am not going to eat then you can’t eat either. So none of us ate until 2:00 P.M. It was rough.

I drive a dark blue mini-van. But if I could, I would have a silver car.

  4. (((Hugs))) I hope you get some answers soon. My van is an earthy greenish color. Hard to describe.

Applie’s van IS full size – it is huge!

  5. Sorry to hear about Kirstens test results.Keep at it. Eventually they will find out what is wrong with her. I drive a Chianti Red car with mud puddle spots on it. Love you, Aunt Cindy
