~~I rarely watch commercials. I can’t stand, them so I DVR everything that I want to watch.  Saturday there was nothing left in my DVR que, so the girl and I watched some live tv. And I had to endure the commercials.

It never failed.   There was a weight loss commercial immediately followed by a chocolate/restaurant commercial.  Every. single. time.

Oh the irony.

~~Superman has started taking the boy across the street to Boy Scouts every Monday night.   The neighbor boy is so excited about it.   He never stops talking.   Ever.   Even if there is nothing else for him to say he makes stuff up.   I never thought so much noise could come out of someone so small.

~~Girl Scout season is in full swing here.   I ordered some, and now I’m just waiting for her to deliver them.   Thin Mints….they are the filet mignon  of the cookie world.

~~Friday the boy, his wife and their girl came over.

We made cookies together.

The girl got Jax some red sparkly shoes and a sparkly skirt.

It was so wonderful to spend some time with them….unfortunately about 10 minutes after this photo was taken, the girl got jot with a mild case of food poisoning.  I felt so bad for her. She was just. so. sick.   But she made a rather quick recovery.   I like to think it was all due to the loving care of her mother, but it was most likely the Gatorade that I forced her to sip every 5 minutes.  Nope…it was all me, ’cause I’m just that fabulous of a mom.

Next time we’ll finish those cookies.
