I’m sorry this happened to you. Something similar happened to my sister years ago. (It was the rear window though and very expensive to fix because of the defroster.) It’s awful what some people will do.

P.S. my bad monday involved the city sewer backing up and messing up our plumbing. The house smelled of sewer so bad we had to spend Sunday night in a hotel. But by mid-morning monday the sewer was unblocked and I opened the windows to clear out the bad air in the house. No lingering problems and I think the city might help pay for our plumber and the hotel bill.
