A day in the life…

January 14

I have been sitting here thinking of so many different witty things to post, but I’m coming up blank.

All I can think of is the suffering going on in Haiti.

  1. I can’t even imagine what they must be going through….such devastation and unspeakable grief and sadness.

  2. it is beyond what we can put in our mind. i should fall upon my knees and give praise to my savior for the blessings he has given me.

  3. This has been weighing on my mind as well. I had been fretting over a small leak in my ceiling and a few physical problems these past few weeks. Then, as I sat looking at my ceiling I saw what happened in Haiti and the Lord convicted me. We really have no idea what true suffering is.

  4. Yep, it puts everything in perspective doesn’t it? I have so, so much to be thankful for. We will be praying for Haiti.

  5. I agree. The sadness and grief they must be going through is too hard to imagine. What we see on the news or in the papers can’t even express what they are really going through. All we can do right now is pray for them.

  6. We did hear that our missionaries in Port au Prince, the Ackermans, are okay and the church wasn’t damaged. I am sure it will take years to rebuild.
